Where the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, or any other legislation in your jurisdiction that can't legally be excluded, applies to your purchase, these Terms are read subject to that legislation — and if the two conflict, the legislation wins.
By buying from Tronicgate or using this website, you ("the Customer") agree to the terms set out below ("the Terms").
Where the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, or any other legislation in your jurisdiction that can't legally be excluded, applies to your purchase, these Terms are read subject to that legislation — and if the two conflict, the legislation wins.
To the extent the law allows, if you're purchasing for business purposes, you agree that the Consumer Guarantees Act (or equivalent consumer protection legislation) does not apply to that purchase.
Some products we sell include bundled software, firmware, or companion apps licensed by their manufacturer, not by Tronicgate. Using that content means agreeing to whatever license terms the manufacturer attaches to it. Except where the law says otherwise, Tronicgate doesn't separately warrant this content — it's covered by its own manufacturer license, not by these Terms.
You're responsible for any loss or damage to property, data, or software that results from your own actions or omissions, and agree to cover Tronicgate for that loss. Tronicgate isn't liable for incidental, indirect, special, or consequential damages arising from purchasing, using, or the performance of our products or services — even if we've been told such damage was possible. In every case, our maximum liability is capped at what you paid for the relevant order.
We meet our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act and any other consumer protection law that can't be excluded. Beyond that, refunds, repairs, or replacements are given at our discretion — see our Returns & Refunds Policy for how this works in practice.
If a product goes to the wrong place because of an error on our end, we'll fix it — redelivering, replacing, or refunding it. If the address you gave us was incorrect or incomplete, responsibility for sorting out delivery sits with you, and we won't refund or resend the order.
Bank transfer is one of our accepted payment methods. If you transfer funds to the wrong account number after we've given you the correct one, that's not something we can fix on our end — your order won't be dispatched until we've actually received full payment.
Available payment methods are shown to you at checkout. Ownership of a product stays with Tronicgate until we've received payment in full.
We do our best to keep prices on this site accurate, but mistakes happen occasionally. Where a genuine pricing error occurs, and the law allows it, we're not bound to honour the incorrect price, and we reserve the right to cancel the order.
We take reasonable steps to keep this site and any transactions on it secure. Even so, no transmission over the internet is ever completely secure or error-free, and we can't be held liable for damage caused by third parties intercepting, delaying, or manipulating electronic communications — including through malicious software.
Deals and promotions on this site are only valid while they're actually displayed, unless we say otherwise.
We reserve the right to cancel an order, or the underlying purchase agreement, at any time and for any reason — including where we suspect fraud, misuse of a promotion, or where a pricing or other error has occurred. If we do cancel an order, we're not liable for any resulting cost or damage to you, but we'll refund anything you've already paid.
All prices shown are inclusive of New Zealand GST.
You're welcome to access, view, and download content on this site for your own personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to interfere with the site's normal operation, and not to use bots, scrapers, data-mining tools, or any method aimed at probing, testing, or breaching our security, without our written permission.
Content on this site, and the software behind it, belongs to Tronicgate or its licensors, protected under New Zealand and international intellectual property law. You agree not to modify, alter, or redistribute that content to third parties.
To offer a wide range of products, Tronicgate doesn't hold every listed item in a single warehouse — some ship from our own Auckland warehouse, others from an overseas dropship partner. All orders are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to decline or cancel an order for an item that turns out to be out of stock. Availability information comes partly from third-party suppliers; while we work with them to keep it accurate, occasional errors or omissions are possible, and delivered goods may differ slightly from the images shown on this site.
We make every reasonable effort to give accurate delivery timeframes, but these assume our suppliers' stock information is correct and that nothing unforeseen delays the courier. By placing an order, you agree not to hold Tronicgate liable for loss or damage arising from a delayed or failed delivery against an estimated timeframe.
Creating a Tronicgate account means agreeing to receive electronic communications from us — account and order status updates, and where you've opted in, promotional and marketing material. We don't share your personal details with third parties for this purpose; see our Privacy Policy for more detail.
We respect other people's copyright. If you believe something in our product catalogue infringes your copyright, please write to us using our contact details and include:
